Stewart departs Saints

Southampton have published their released list, confirming the departure of Scotland striker Ross Stewart.

Stewart signed from Sunderland in 2023 for 10m, and an option to extend his contract was not agreed.

A promotion winner in 2024, Stewart will leave after featuring 33 times in the 2025/26 campaign, finding the net on 11 occasions.

Oriol Romeu, Will Smallbone, Alex McCarthy, Joe Aribo, Jamie Jones, Charlie Taylor and loanee Elias Jelert will also Southampton this summer.

Wycombe youngster heads out on loan

Aldershot have signed Jack Matton on a season-long loan from Wycombe.

The 20-year-old made his Chairboys debut on the final day of the 2025/26 Sky Bet League One season in a 3-2 win over Rotherham.

Bree signs new Southampton deal

Southampton have announced James Bree has signed a new contract until the summer of 2029.

The defender - who was due to be out of contract at the end of this month - signed from Luton in January 2023 and has made 74 appearances for the club.

Speaking to the club's official website, Bree said: Im absolutely buzzing to get it all sorted. Its something that I spoke about towards the end of the season Im just happy to get it all done now and Im committed for the next three years.

Football is never smooth sailing, as we all know. When I first signed here it was a tough start, but Ive absolutely loved my time so far.

"When it came down to signing a new contract, it was something that I was always thinking about doing. I cant wait to keep going.

Kiltie signs new Killie deal

Greg Kiltie has signed a new contract at Kilmarnock.

The winger will remain at Rugby Park until the summer of 2028.

Kiltie, 29, was Killie's Player of the Year in 2025/26, with four goals and seven assists to his name.

Im delighted to be staying for another year," he told the club's official website.

"The way we finished last season, it means theres a feel-good factor moving into the next campaign, and we can go into it with optimism.

Well be looking to do better than last season. Well try to kick on, and Im really excited about whats to come.

Southampton confirm retained list

Southampton have confirmed eight players will leave the club when their contracts expire at the end of June

Oriol Romeu, Will Smallbone, Ross Stewart, Alex McCarthy, Joe Aribo, Jamie Jones, Charlie Taylor and Elias Jelert will all leave St Mary's.

Smallbone departs after 18 years on Saints' books, while one-time England international McCarthy departs after a decade and over 160 appearances.

Charlton Women confirm retained list

Charlton have confirmed their retained list after promotion to the WSL.

Amalie Thestrup, Gracie Pearse, Emma Bissell, Frankie Finlayson and Karin Muya will leave the club when their contracts expire, while Keira Flannery will return to West Ham after a loan spell.

The club are in discussions with Katie Bradley, Lucy Fitzgerald, Carla Humphrey, Gillian Kenney, Ellie Mason, Elisha N'Dow, Charlotte Newsham, Anna Pedersen and Mia Ross ahead of their return to the top flight for the first time in 18 years.

Sage set to take over at Palace
